Kaptin Sylva Dee Says goodbye to the Comedy industry
My name is Sylvanus Dabbason more widely recognized as Kaptin Sylva Dee, i am a Comedian, master of ceremonies, and an Actor. Nothing good comes easy, as they say, and that has been the case
in my journey as an artist. Developing a career in Stand up comedy requires physical labor, especially in Northern Nigeria one must constantly travel from comedy shows to music concerts for free or with little to no income. By God's grace, this has been my routine for over the course of 10 years, During this journey, I can honestly say that I have never felt regret of any kind; the only regret I may have is the fear that I may never be able to perform comedy on stage again, which brings me to the reason I am writing this post.
He also added;
As I advance into the next chapter of my life, I regret to inform you that I will no longer be performing as a comedian or an entertainer in general. I apologize sincerely; I am aware that not everyone will find this pleasant. Family, close friends, and my incredibly supportive fans in my home Kaduna, Northern Nigeria and beyond. Please understand that although this was a difficult decision for me to make, it really is for the best.
I guarantee that the next stage of what I'm going to embark on will be something I will love enough, i only need to devote all of my focus. I gave up Comedy not because i want to give in to pressure but I made this conscious decision for my own benefit, i quit not because I wanted to back down from difficulties. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support from the beginning of my journey to the present. I express my gratitude to my family, the Dabbason family, relatives, close friends, and true admirers.
I’m glad that my craftsmanship was able to raise for itself an army of steadfast supporters and admirers, who constantly held my hands up out there in field of showmanship. I’m most grateful that my comedy was deemed worthy not just proficient to put smiles on people’s faces but to also bring laughter and joy to the lives of some many individuals. I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to entertain you on stage while I did, prayers of blessings to you all.

This came as a shock to many of his fans, some expressed their shocked and other amidst this shocking revelation wished him well and prayed for him to excel in what he is moving into.
